All-On-4 Replace Missing Teeth in a Day

An entire row of missing teeth can present a real problem for a person. It can make it almost impossible to speak clearly, and many foods simply become too difficult to eat. This is added to the cosmetic issues that can have a dramatic impact on a person’s self-confidence. The best thing to do is replace all of these teeth, but this presents other issues. A patient could either choose dentures, which would need to be replaced over time, or dental implants, which could require multiple surgeries. Both have their advantages and disadvantages, so which one is the best possible treatment for this kind of problem? At SDK Dental Care, the solution is simple: All-On-4 Dentures.

What are All-On-4 Dentures?

Close up of flawlessly repaired smileWith All-On-4 dentures, Dr. Sam DK Kim can use just four dental implants to support an entire full denture. In fact, he can often place the implants and the denture in just one day, meaning a patient can wake up with missing teeth that morning and go to bed that night with a full smile that is both beautiful and secure. When it comes to replacing a large amount of missing teeth, nothing does it better or faster than All-On-4 dentures.

How Does All-On-4 Work?

All-On-4 dentures are able to firmly stay in place because of the strategic locations of the implants. After taking a multitude of scans and x-rays, Dr. Kim will find the perfect position for each implant so that they can provide maximum support. Typically, two implants will be placed at the front of the jaw where the bone is naturally thicker, and two more will be placed on either side towards the back at an angle. This will enable them to hold a full denture in place and prevent it from ever slipping. After the implants have been placed, Dr. Kim can then restore them using a premade full denture. After that, your new smile will be ready for the world.

Is All-On-4 Right For Me?

The only way to determine if this treatment is right for you is by making an appointment with SDK Dental Care. This will enable Dr. Kim to examine you and determine if you are a good candidate for the treatment. If you are, he can perform the procedure right in his office, saving you from having to find a local specialist.
